What is ID-Shop.co.uk and how long has it been around?
ID-Shop.co.uk (this site) is owned by Plastic Card Solutions (P.C.S.), a UK business established in March 2000. Our registered mail address, and address for all correspondence and returns is:

Why can you do this? Isn't it illegal?

ID-Shop.co.uk only sells cards for novelty use, (showing off, props in drama etc). You have to sign a disclaimer stating that you agree to use the cards for novelty use only. To view disclaimer click here.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, cheques an postal orders (in £, €, and AU$, notes only please, NO COINS). You are are advised to send all orders by recorded delivery.

What do I put on my Postal Order / Cheque?
Please make all cheques / postal orders payable to "P.C.S."

How long will you take to deliver my card?

Cards are usually shipped out the day after we receive your order, however please allow up to 3 days in case of busy periods. (Overseas orders may take up to 5 days longer)

Can I order using a debit / credit card?

No. Because we need you to send us a photo and complete an order form there would be little point in being able to take payment on-line.

What guarantees are there that I get my card?

ID-Shop.co.uk is governed by the same laws as any other mail order business in the UK, our track record of businesses shows that we are reliable and efficient. If we were not then people could easily report us to the police or Trading Standards.

Do you have a reseller program?

Yes! You can make money by selling our cards! We have made a page with all the basic info, available by clicking here.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

We now prefer to offer discounts through our reseller scheme, but if you are ordering over 10 cards please contact us and we may be able to help.

Are your ID cards double sided?

Yes, all of our products are double sided. You can see an image of the reverse under the main front image of each card.

What does the envelope the ID arrives in look like?

The card will arrive in a light brown envelope (with a card board back) it will say, "DO NOT BEND" on the front in red. Your address is printed on a white label. There are NO logos of ID-Shop.co.uk on it.

Can you send ID outside of the United Kingdom?

Yes, we ship to mainland Europe, Ireland and Australia as well as the UK.

What size should the photo be?

The photo should be about the same size as a passport photo, it is preferable to have a white background. The better the quality of photo you send us the better that your card will look.

Can you custom design cards?

Yes, although obviously we can not copy official cards. Prices for custom cards cost from £30.

Do I have to put my real date of birth/ name on the card?

No, since the cards are for novelty purposes you can give us any details you want.

Do your cards have holograms?

ID-Shop.co.uk offers a selection of cards that have ghosted hologram overlays and silver foil security printing.

Alternative Ordering Method If You Can't Print The Order Form:
Either contact us and we will send you our mail order catalogue which contains pre-printed order forms; or you can make a hand written copy of the order form, fill it in and send it with a photo, signature and payment to:

When handwriting the order form you must write somewhere with your order "I have read and understood the terms and conditions of purchase." Sign below this.
